WSOPE Freerolls...

2008-07-21 18:13:23
WSOPE Europe 2008

The initial WSOPE qualifying freerolls will run three times a day, from Monday through to Friday, at times convenient to many different time zones (12:30, 20:35 and 00:30 BST).

Everybody who enters will start with 2,000 chips, play to ten-minute blind intervals, meaning there is plenty of poker involved and it does not just become a game of going all-in from the off.

The final table of nine players will each receive entry to the Saturday Freeroll Final that starts at 18:30 BST and usually has between 150 and 200 runners, giving everyone a great chance of qualification to the next round.

Again, it is the top nine players who benefit from the WSOPE Freeroll Final, with first place being awarded a $550 seat to the Sunday Freeroll Qualifier, where a prize pool of at least two 2008 WSOPE packages are guaranteed by Betfair.

A second or third place in the Sunday Freeroll Qualifier is awarded a seat to the $55 WSOPE Level Two tournaments, whilst fourth to ninth pays a Level One seat valued at $5.50.

As mentioned, the bi-weekly $550 WSOPE Qualifier guarantees two packages worth $24,000 each!

Each World Series of Poker Europe package consists of a buy-in to the Main Event along with some travelling and accommodation expenses for good measure!

There is no need to worry if you do not finish in the top two places as a third to ninth place finish awards a $550 WSOPE Second Chance qualifier seat, giving you another opportunity to qualify for the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe for free.

So if you want to test your poker skills against the current WSOPE champion, Annette Obrestad, all you have to do is log onto the Betfair client at the times stated and with a bit of skill and luck, you could be going to London without it costing you a single penny.
