The eyes of the poker world will be very much on London over the next month or so as the players gather for a number of high profile events, including of course the World Series of Poker Europe, writes Rob Eddy.
The big show will get underway at The Casino at The Empire from September 19, with four gold bracelets on offer for those who enter, and the Main Event sure to guarantee a millionaire's payday for the poker player lucky enough to land the main prize.
However, it is not the only big pot on offer in the capital in September and October as the world's big guns are lured to these shores over the next couple of months.
Obviously the main focus will be the WSOP Europe, won last year by Norwegian starlet Annette Obrestad, but the American invasion of stars is already confirmed as they look to make up for a disappointing effort in the inaugural event last year.
The European Poker Tour London event also has a guaranteed first prize of £1million, meaning a long list of well-established poker stars including Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Rousso and Vicky Coren will be in London.
But that's not all as the third Million Dollar Cash Game, which saw the largest ever televised pot of $807,400 at last year's event, also taking place with a plethora of greats, including Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Patrik Antonius and more, coming to town.
Perhaps the man that everyone has to beat though is Erick Lindgren, who finally was rewarded for his talents at this year's WSOP in Las Vegas.
E-Dog landed his first gold bracelet with victory in the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em (Limit/No-Limit) event as well as a third place and a fourth place finish in other tournaments along with a cash finish in the Heads Up competition.
His success on the other side of the pond this year took his live tournament winnings to over $7,300,000 and the 2008 WSOP Player of the Year title.
