With two players already eliminated at the final table when this key hand occurred, each of the remaining players was guaranteed at least £114,030 for their efforts.
With play seven-handed and with blinds at 6,000/12,000 with a running 2,000 ante, part-time poker professional Magnus Persson looked down to find he had been dealt a pair of sevens and duly raised to 46,000.
Fellow Swedish national, Jahannes Korsar, who on day four won a massive pot from Annette Obrestad when his queens improved to a flush to beat her pair of threes, called with a pair of fives, hoping to flop a set.
Oyvind Riisem folded on the button and the seven-three off suit dealt to John Tabatabai quickly found its way to the muck.
After a brief pause, Annette quietly but confidently announced, "I'm all-in!" A bet that was for her tournament life should it be called. A bet of 438,000 chips!
Within a few seconds, Magnus Persson made the call whilst Korsar realised his pocket fives were probably the in bad shape and he folded.
Before the dealer could burn a card and deal the flop, a worried Annette pleaded, "Please tell me you don't have Ace-queen," hoping that she was not going to be only a 56/44 favourite in the hand with her pair of Jacks, Jh Jc.
A rather negative looking Persson obliged Annette's plea by informing her "I don't have ace-queen" and then showed his pair of sevens, making the 18-year-old online star a 4/1 favourite.
The flop of 2s 3h 3s was almost perfect for Annette, but still worried about losing to a bad beat she asked the rest of the table if any of them had folded a seven!
It did not matter if they had or had not as one of the two remaining jacks in the deck, the jack of diamonds to be specific was dealt on the turn, giving Annette a set, and making it impossible for her to lose the hand.
To rub salt into the wounds of Persson, a two of hearts fell on the river, turning Annette's set into a full house and winning her a massive 1,036,000 pot!
Losing that pot left Persson with just 172,000 chips and he was eliminated a few hands later when his king-ten ran into Tabatabai's pocket kings!
On the other side of the coin, winning the huge pot put Annette amongst the chip leaders and she went on to win the entire tournament for a cool one million pounds first prize and become the youngest ever World Series of Poker bracelet winner.
