If you are looking to get out of the central area and find something slightly quieter then a short tube journey to Acton in West London will have you arriving at The Western Club. Being one of the largest venues in the area it can host for around 300 players. It is a private members clubs that is very welcoming to new members. They offer a range of cash games from 50p/50p NLHE up to £5/£5 PLHE which run every night. There is also a newer more regular £5/£5 PLO game that runs at the weekends and also a higher limit Dealers Choice game. They have a private room that has two tables that sometimes hosts bigger games. They run regular tournaments with regular tournaments ranging from £20-£100 buyins with occasional £500 events.

Other venues include the Gutshot on Clerkenwell road which hosts regular NLHE cash games and the Palm Beach which sometimes hosts an infamous £10/£20 NLHE game with a lot of action. Come the end of the Summer London is going to be a very fun place to be for a gambler.
