Annette 'Annette_15' Obrestad rewrote the record books on her way to winning the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe Main Event in 2007, but is determined to build on her success and win even more tournaments.

The 19-year-old became the youngest winner of a WSOP bracelet as well as becoming the youngest winner of a Main Event last year, while her £1m prize money saw her overtake Annie Duke for the record for a single-event payout to a female player.

The win catapulted Annette into poker stardom and having made plenty of money from the game with over $2.5m in the bank, she reveals that it is the lure of more of that famous poker wrist-candy that is fuelling her passion in the sport.

Speaking of her WSOPE win to the Casino City Times, Obrestad said: "It was an amazing experience. But now I want to win it again. I want more.

"Once you already have enough money where winning more won't really change your life, you play more for the bracelet," she added. "I want to let people know who I am. I want to establish a name for myself. That's why I play now."

The Team Betfair star has been soaking up the atmosphere at the WSOP in Las Vegas but she has been unable to display her talents on the baize against the rest of the world and its dog as the minimum age to compete is 21.

However, she is relishing the prospect of competing in Sin City when she is old enough and has promised to bring home some more jewellery at her first attempt.

"I can't wait until 2010 when I can play [at the World Series in the U.S.]. I'm going to be multi-tabling so many events at a time. I probably play in like 30 events. And I will win a bracelet my first year. You watch me. I'm going to do it."

Sitting out over there, though, may well be bad news for those challengers to her crown come September as she is sure to be champing at the bit to add to her bracelet tally.
