WSOP main event champion Chris Ferguson was eliminated in 7th place for a £33,000 payday when he faced off against Theo Jorgensen. After the flop had come Kc Qc 6d Ferguson was all in with Jorgensen making the call. Chris showed Ac As Js 8c for Aces, a straight draw and the nut flush draw against Jorgensen's 6s 6h 5c 3c, trip 6's. Unfortunately for Ferguson the 6c on the turn, the only bad club for his hand gave Jorgensen quads and a substantial chip lead.

Heads up play began with Theo Jorgensen facing off against Betfairs Sorel Mizzi. The crowed were really fired up, including a merry Annette Obrestad cheering on her team mate. On a flop of Ks 8h Jh Mizzi ended up all in with Ah Qh 6h 5s for the nut flush draw and a straight draw against the Kh 3c Ac Kd, top set of Jorgensen. Mizzi's fans shouted for hearts while Jorgensen shouted for the board to pair. The 2s hit the turn and the 7d hit the river, giving Jorgensen the bracelet and the £218,626 prize money. Mizzi earned £132,000 for his second place finish.
